Thebraking is a set of elements mounted on the running gear of thevehicle. This hydraulic system makes it possible toslow down or stop the car depending on thesituation that arises. As soon as you hear a creaking noise when braking, a hardening or on the contrary a release of the pedal of brake ; or if you pull the handbrake fully and the carmoves again, you must seriously check the system braking.
Front brake systems have one or more pistons that exert hydraulic pressure on the brake pads in contact with the disc. Changing the front pads requires a simple tool that allows the piston to be pushed back correctly into the brake caliper housing. This tool is a piston pusher, also called a piston separator.
For the vast majority of rear brake systems, the caliper is both hydraulic, but also mechanical because it is connected to the handbrake. This caliper is therefore specific, the piston must be pushed back using a special piston pusher which will exert two simultaneous actions, push and screw.
